Welcome Back to TV Heaven!

Years ago, when I first decided to put together a website, I wanted to make it fun and thoughtful, and maybe to tell you a little something about myself based upon the types of shows I watch or watched.  Every time I changed the page, I would update it with a little something about a specific show, why I watched it, how it may have affected my life...things like that.  Well, I had a hoot doing it, and decided to resurrect the site as a page on our current website.  I wish I had all the graphics I did for it.  Each month, I would not only feature a specific show, but I would also "tweak" a pic of the cast, inserting myself and my partner in the pic, just for fun.  Guess I'll have to start all over again!

The picture above is actually a 1952 Bendix Aviation Corporation TV.  I own the set, and yes, it still works.  I also fiddled with the graphics so make this animated .gif file.  That's real TV snow and some of the pics on there actually came over on the TV while I was watching.  I bought this TV at an estate sale way back in 1988 and I've moved it from Orlando to Tallahassee to Seattle and now, to Ft. Lauderdale.

I only wish they had listed the price of the TV with this ad!  I know nothing about the Bendix Aviation Corporation, save that they certainly made a TV that lasted!
